Samsung is organizing this event as an attempt popularize its home produced mobile OS, the Samsung Bada. It has given out free ebooks to designers and organized several Bada Developer’s Day around the world and is making a lot of effort to stand in this competitive world of smartphones. Now, the company has come up with this challenge to get a lot of attention. The company saw hundreds of thousands of downloads of the Bada download when it was open to the developers around the world.

Coming back to this challenge, if you win, you could win a whooping $300,000. The total prize amount being $2,700,000. So if you want to get this money and your name on the winning challenger’s list (if there is something like that), get yourself ready with an app and register yourself.

This is a global challenge. So your app has to be in English only. And you should not be a minor legally. This is the company’s only conditions for the challengers.
