Samsung has come up with a new plan to hit the market hard. It has its own platform now, the Bada, its own manufacturing firm, of coarse, and an awesome 1GHz processor, the Hummingbird. And the first phone to sport this all is the Samsung Wave. Not just this, Wave is one of the phones which has very high end specs and high performance hardware.

With HD video recording, 1 GHz processor, Super AMOLED display, this phone is built to stay. But we cant be pretty sure of that due to stiff competitions from the Android, the iOS, the not so successful Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry OS. With a design that captures both your eyes and sticks them to the phone, this is surely an eye-candy, a would-be ladies phone, as I would like to call it. Nevertheless, phone enthusiasts who are fascinated by the processing power and hardware capabilities of a phone like this, will not live without getting their hands on this one.

Adding to this is the 5MP camera which is capable of recording HD videos. And to playback this, the phone also has a high resolution 480×800 screen!! Wow!!!

Even with all the jaw dropping features, its yet to know how Samsung Wave would claim its place in the competitive smartphone world with Samsung’s Bada platform.
